About us

An investigative team built for the aftermath.

Most people who come to us are dealing with this for the first time — we're not.

Who we are. Ledger Recourse is an advisory practice focused on one thing: helping people who have lost cryptocurrency to fraud understand what happened to their funds and what can realistically be done next. Our team draws on backgrounds in financial investigation, blockchain analytics, and fraud reporting.

Our experience. We have reviewed cases spanning romance and "pig-butchering" scams, fake exchanges and staking platforms, phishing and wallet-drainer attacks, and compromised custodial accounts — tracing funds across multiple chains and through mixers, bridges, and exchange deposits.

Our mission. Not every case ends in recovered funds — that's determined by exchange cooperation, jurisdiction, and how quickly funds moved before we were engaged. Our job is to give you an honest, evidence-based read on your options and to do the tracing and paperwork work that most victims can't do alone.

Transparency

01

We tell you plainly what the blockchain evidence shows, including when it doesn't support a strong case — before you pay us for anything further.

Privacy

02

Case materials, wallet addresses, and personal documents are handled under confidentiality agreements and access-limited storage, and are never sold or shared beyond what's needed to pursue your case.

Independence

03

We are not affiliated with any exchange, wallet provider, or law enforcement agency. Our review is not influenced by referral relationships.

Services

What we actually do with your case.

Each service below can stand alone or combine into a full case package, depending on what happened and what evidence exists.

01

Blockchain transaction tracing

Following the movement of funds across wallets, chains, mixers, and bridges from the point of loss forward.

02

Scam case assessment

An honest review of what happened, what evidence exists, and whether the facts support a viable recovery path.

03

Wallet analysis

Identifying wallet clusters, exchange deposit addresses, and behavioral patterns tied to known scam infrastructure.

04

Evidence preparation

Organizing transaction records, correspondence, and trace reports into a format usable by exchanges, banks, and authorities.

05

Reporting to exchanges & authorities

Assisting with exchange freeze requests, law enforcement reports, and regulatory complaints where applicable.

06

Recovery options consultation

Walking through realistic next steps — including when the most honest advice is that recovery is unlikely.

How it works

A five-step process, start to finish.

Every case moves through the same sequence, so you always know what stage you're at.

01Intake

Submit your case

Tell us what happened and share the wallet addresses, transaction IDs, and any correspondence with the scammer. This step is free and confidential.

02Review

We review your transaction history

An investigator reconstructs the timeline of the loss and identifies which chains and platforms are involved.

03Trace

We analyze blockchain activity

Using on-chain analytics tools, we trace the flow of funds as far as the trail allows, flagging any endpoints at identifiable exchanges.

04Options

We explain your available recovery options

You receive a plain-language report covering what the trace found and which next steps — if any — are realistically worth pursuing.

05Support

We assist throughout the process where possible

We help prepare and submit exchange requests, police or regulatory reports, and keep you updated as anything develops.

A note on how this industry works

Crypto recovery is, unfortunately, also a space targeted by secondary scams — services that promise guaranteed recovery for an upfront fee and then disappear.

A legitimate reviewer will never guarantee an outcome before looking at your case, and will never ask you to send additional crypto "to unlock" your funds. If anyone tells you that, it's a second scam.

Use that as a checklist when evaluating any recovery service — including this one.

Testimonials

In clients' own words.

We only publish testimonials from clients who have given explicit, written consent to share their experience. As verified testimonials come in, they'll appear here.

No fabricated or placeholder reviews are used on this site.
FAQ

Common questions.

No. Recovery depends on factors outside our control — how quickly funds moved, whether they reached a cooperative exchange, and the jurisdiction involved. Anyone who guarantees recovery before reviewing your case should be treated with caution. We give you an honest assessment of the odds, not a sales pitch.

The initial case review typically takes a few business days. Blockchain tracing can take longer depending on how many hops the funds went through. Reporting and exchange coordination, when applicable, can extend from weeks to months.

At minimum: the wallet address(es) involved, transaction hashes or IDs, and any screenshots or messages from your interaction with the scammer. Bank or exchange statements help if fiat currency was involved at any point.

We regularly trace Bitcoin, Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, and major layer-2 and alt-L1 chains such as BNB Chain, Tron, Solana, and Polygon. If your case involves a chain not listed here, submit it anyway — we'll tell you during the review if we can trace it.

Disclaimer: Cryptocurrency recovery depends on many factors, including how quickly funds were traced, the cooperation of exchanges and third parties, and the jurisdiction involved. We cannot guarantee that stolen funds will be recovered. Ledger Recourse provides investigative and support services to help clients understand and pursue the recovery options available to them — we do not charge upfront "guaranteed recovery" fees, and we do not take possession of client funds at any stage of a case review.
